Boarding with us is...

Picture

Comfortable

Your dog will get one on one treatment during his/her stay, in our finished basement with a sofa bed to sleep on, plasma tv to watch and easy access to go potty outside.
Picture

Relaxing

Since your dog will be one of the only pups staying with us, most of the time it is very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. We like to use lavender aromatherapy to promote relaxation, and a white noise machine at night for pups who have sensitive hearing.

Feels like home

Your pup will have a separate entrance to our privacy fenced backyard, ample toys to play with from the toy bin, and a crate for crate training or just a private place to curl up without being seen. Not to mention, tons of love and affection!

Boarding FAQs

.Q: How much does it cost to board with SSDT?
A: $100 per day.

Q: How is SSDT different from other boarders?
A: Lisa is a certified dog trainer with 16+ years of experience in the animal care industry. Your dog will get her one on one attention, including her expertise in handling. She is very comfortable giving medication as well.

Q: How many walks will my dog get?
A: It depends on your dog. If you have a dog that isn't fearful of walks, he/she will get one walk per day with lots of yard time in between. If your pup is fearful, we will attempt a walk but if its too scary, we will just spend our time in the backyard.

Q: What do I need to bring?
A: Whatever will make your pup feel more at home but blankets, toys and bowls will be provided so they are not necessary. Also, please bring his/her dog food and any treats/bones they are allowed to have (especially if there are any food allergies present).

Q: Will my dog have time around other dogs?
A: As long as your dog is friendly, there are possibilities for playdates.

Q: How many dogs do you board at one time?
A: We only board two dogs at a time unless we know that all the dogs are friendly with other dogs.

Q: How far in advance should I book you?
A: We book up very fast because of my limit so the sooner the better :)

Q: Are there any prerequisites for boarding?
A: Yes, we require you either sign up for a training session or a day of boarding prior to the scheduled trip in order to get to know your dog and make sure he/she is a good fit to board with us.
